This is Labor Day and there are a number of closures.

Federal, state, county and city offices are closed. No regular mail will be delivered. Schools are not in session. Most banks and credit union locations will not be open. Umpqua Public Transportation District buses will not operate.

Most professional offices are closed while most retail locations remain open.
