Douglas County Patriot Camp is happening on July 6th through 10th.

The half-day day camp is designed to teach American history to students entering grades 1 to 6 this fall. This is the 9th year the event has been held in Roseburg.

The camp uses the facilities of Covenant Life Fellowship at 1553 Northeast Vine Street in Roseburg. Classes are held each day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The fee is $50 per camper, or $45 per camper for families with three campers. Scholarships are also available. Registration closes July 1st.

This year, Patriot Camp will focus on the time from Washington’s first election through just before Madison’s presidency – from 1789-1808.
