Above normal afternoon high temperatures are expected in the Umpqua Valley through Thursday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that a short-wave ridge of high pressure will keep conditions warm, but not as hot as was earlier expected. Roseburg should be in the mid 90’s on Monday, around 90 on Tuesday and in the mid to upper 80’s on Thursday.
A cold front will move into the region on Friday dropping highs to around 70 degrees through the weekend. There is a chance of very light precipitation on Friday and Saturday, but only a minimal amount.
