The Morgan Observatory at Umpqua Community College has released its summer and fall public stargazing schedule.
*Friday, July 10th at 9:30 p.m. Explore stellar formation from protostars to planetary nebula
*Friday, August 7th at 9:30 p.m. Explore the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy, nebular and star clusters
*Thursday August 27th at 8:30 p.m. Lunar Eclipse – see the shadow of the earth engulf the lunar disk
*Friday, September 11th at 8:00 p.m. View the later summer and early fall skies.
