PLANNING FOR PLANTING: GUIDANCE FOR SUCCESSFUL RESTORATION

Staff with the Oregon State University Extension Service invites landowners and managers to the Planning for Planting workshop on June 30th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

An Extension release said the workshop will provide a hands-on learning experience that will cover the basics. Learn about species selection, the influence of topography, future potential fire behavior and much more.

The instructor will be OSU College of Forestry Associate Professor Mark Swanson. Participants will meet in Umpqua and carpool to field sites. Meeting location information will be shared with participants upon registration for the workshop.
