Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a parole violation early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 12:10 a.m. officers contacted the 27-year-old during a security check at Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street, due to the park being closed. Officers learned that the woman was wanted by her parole officer. A detainer was authorized and the woman was taken into custody without incident. She was detained without bail and was released later in the morning.
