Roseburg Police cited a man Tuesday for a prior hit and run incident.

An RPD report said on Monday, officers took a hit and run report involving an SUV believed to have been driven by a 31-year-old. Officers located the driver at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street and noted damage on his vehicle consistent with what had been described. The man admitted to being in the accident and leaving the scene.

He was released after the citation was issued.
