ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR OVERNIGHT THEFT FROM STORE

Roseburg Police cited a man for an overnight theft from a store early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 3:40 a.m. officers contacted the 33-year-old at a business in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after he was called in by Loss Prevention staff for allegedly concealing items on his person. The man was detained without incident. Stolen merchandise valued at $22.50 was recovered.

The man was cited for third degree theft and then was released.
