Roseburg Police charged a woman with improper use of 911 early Wednesday.

An RPD report said just after 12:00 a.m. officers contacted the 41-year-old outside a business in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. It was reported that the woman was acting erratic and was possibly impaired while she was in the drive through of the business. The woman consented to field sobriety tests and performed adequately. Emergency medical personnel were requested to evaluate the woman. She allegedly became increasingly volatile and was screaming at officers and at employees of the business.

The woman was warned of improper use of 911 multiple times by multiple officers but reportedly continued to call emergency services. EMS arrived and evaluated the woman and deemed her not to be in need of immediate emergency medical care. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $6,250.
