Roseburg Police jailed two people for probation violations early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 12:35 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle for several traffic violations in the 2200 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. During the traffic stop, the passenger, a 27-year-old man, got out of the vehicle and ran to a nearby store. Officers contacted the driver, a 40-year-old woman, and learned that both people were on post prison supervision and both had a no-contact stipulation between them. A detainer was authorized for both people and they were taken into custody. Both were detained without bail.
