Roseburg Police cited a man on Sunday for a reported prior criminal mischief incident.

An RPD report said just after 4:00 p.m. officers contacted the 19-year-old in the 600 block of Southeast Jackson Street regarding an incident that had occurred on June 19th where he had allegedly damaged a mailbox. Officers showed the suspect a video of the person that damaged the mailbox. He admitted it was him on the video but continued to deny damaging the mailbox.

The man was cited for second-degree criminal mischief and was released from the scene.
