Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a probation violation on Friday.

An RPD report said at 11:45 a.m. officers contacted the 43-year-old after a caller said she had been in a verbal confrontation near the intersection of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Eden Street. During the contact, officers determined the woman was not allowed to have any contact with the other person in the disturbance per the stipulations of her parole. A detainer was authorized. She was taken into custody and detained without bail. The woman was released on Saturday.
