Crews with the Douglas Forest Protective Association and other agencies dealt with the Crouch Road Fire in the Oakland area on Saturday.
DFPA Public Information Office Rachael Pope said the agency was assisted by the Sutherlin Fire Department and the Oakland Rural Fire Protection District. The 15-acre fire was near the 400 block of Crouch Road and was called in around 2:00 p.m.
By just after 4:30 p.m. the fire was halted with no threat to homes or structures. The cause of the Crouch Fire was under investigation.
