A Glide man was jailed on a first-degree burglary charge on Thursday evening.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 8:50 p.m. a deputy responded to a residence in the 100 block of Abbott Street in Glide after a caller said a man had broken into her room and moved her belongings outside. The victim also reported that the 54-year had moved into her room.

Deputies observed multiple boxes with the victim’s belongings outside of the residence. The victim advised that she had not given the suspect permission to go into her room. Men’s clothing was seen inside the room when the victim said her clothes were missing.

The man was taken into custody and transported to corrections. He was detained without bail and was released on Friday.
