Tuesday just after 8:30 a.m. crews from Central Douglas Fire & Rescue responded to a reported possible natural cover fire in the 14000 block of Lookingglass Road near Winston.

A CDF&R release said the first-arriving fire engine crew reported a fully involved gazebo that had spread to nearby trees. Crews quickly contained the fire and stopped the spread to the adjacent hillside. The cause of the fire was undetermined.

Central Douglas Fire & Rescue responded with one Structural Fire Engine, one Brush unit, and two command vehicles. Firefighters were assisted by Winston Police Department and the Oregon State Police.
