Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported trespass incident on Monday.
An RPD report said shortly after 8:00 a.m. officers contacted 52-year-old Michael Rushing at a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after the property manager said the man was trespassing there. Rushing had previously been arrested for trespassing at the same location. While officers were detaining the man, he allegedly used physical force to resist arrest. Rushing was ultimately detained without incident. A detainer was authorized for committing new crimes.
Rushing was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, resisting arrest and a parole violation. Bail was set at $7,500.
