A man was taken to the hospital following a vehicle accident on Monday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 7:00 a.m. the man drove his sedan off the roadway in the 2000 block of Fort McKay Road in the Oakland area. The vehicle went onto the shoulder, due to the driver’s unknown medical condition, damaging the front driver’s side tire. The man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center, and his sedan was towed from the scene.
