ROSEBURG MEN ARRESTED FOR INTERFERING WITH SALEM PRIDE EVENT

June 14, 2026 1:50 p.m.

Two Roseburg men were arrested for interfering with a Salem Pride event on Saturday.

A Salem Police Department report said at approximately 1:30 p.m. officers were notified that a group of about eight individuals were reportedly interfering with the event in downtown Salem. Event organizers, who had authority to the permitted area, asked the group to leave after observing disruptions.

Officers responded and contacted the group, advising them that they were trespassing and needed to exit the permitted event space. After several attempts to obtain voluntary compliance, SPD officers arrested 49-year-old Ryan Clark and 51-year-old Mason Goodknight for criminal trespass. The remaining members of the group with Clark and Goodknight left the area voluntarily.

Clark and Goodknight were taken into custody and transported to the Salem Police Department. After being processed, they were released by SPD.

Both men are listed as being on the staff of the Reformed Baptist Church in Roseburg, according to the church’s website.
