Coastal highway travel between Oregon and California resumed Thursday night.

An update from the Oregon Department of Transportation said the Redwood Highway, U.S. 199, reopened on the California side of the border, south of Gasquet.

Motorists should expect one-way traffic and delays. Crews are on-site to ensure safe passage through the area. A 13-mile section of the highway had been closed for hours after a rockslide blocked travel
