Douglas County government offices will be closed on Monday for New Year’s Day.

A County release said that includes the courthouse, Justice Building, county annex in Reedsport, transfer stations, fairgrounds and all external county government offices.

The Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum in Winchester Bay will be open on Monday for normal hours and tours.

As always, even when county offices are closed, many officials and public employees are still working on special, routine, or emergency projects. Deputies, 911 communications and other Sheriff’s Office staff will continue to provide law enforcement during the holiday.
