Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged theft incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 6;00 pm. officers responded to the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after a caller said a woman had been shoplifting. Officers learned the female had left the area on foot. She was found nearby minutes later and was taken into custody without incident.

She was charged with theft in the second degree. Bail was set at $6,250.
