The Douglas ESD announced on Monday that this summer’s Partner Sports Camp will be held July 10-20 and registration opens later this month.

The annual camp is open to students with disabilities from ages 8-21. Campers are paired with partners without disabilities and daily activities focus mostly on sports, but also features traditional camp activities such as hiking, fishing, crafts and campfire cooking.

Registration opens on May 15 and closes June 15. The camp is free to participants.

Partner Sports Camp is a collaboration with the YMCA of Douglas County. Most of the camp activities are based or launched from the YMCA building in Roseburg.
