Roseburg Police cited two men for drinking in public on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at approximately 12:40 p.m. officers saw a 43-year-old on the sidewalk drinking a beer in the 1100 block of Northeast Stephens Street. He was contacted and the beverage was disposed of. He was cited for a city ordinance violation.

Just before 1:15 p.m. a 45-year-old was observed along the bike path in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street with an open beer. Upon contact, he poured it out and was issued a citation.
