Snow contributed to a three-vehicle crash on Interstate Five southbound near the Scotts Valley, Elkhead exit on Monday night.

An Oregon State Police report said just after 9:00 p.m. a sedan came upon a snowy portion of the highway and slid into the guardrail. The vehicle rotated sideways and a second vehicle struck the driver’s door of the sedan. A third vehicle struck the first vehicle after attempting to avoid a collision and not being able to slow down in time.

No injuries were sustained. All vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
