Staff with the American Red Cross said there is still an urgent for blood donations to prevent another blood shortage.

Those who are healthy, feeling well, and eligible to donate blood or platelets can sign up by going to www.redcrossblood.org or by calling 800-733-2767 to schedule an appointment. Blood drives are scheduled:

*Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Abby’s Legendary Pizza on Diamond Lake Boulevard in Roseburg.

*Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Life Church on Northeast Vine Street in Roseburg.

*Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Robertson Shaw CPA on South Comstock in Sutherlin.

*Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center on Garden Valley Boulevard in Roseburg.
