The UCC Foundation has cancelled the 2020 Legacy Ball.
The event had been set for November 6th. Information from Umpqua Community College said the reasons for doing so relate to the impact of the virus directly and indirectly to UCC’s community partners.
While the gala will not be held this year, the foundation release said UCC student needs are as great as they ever have been. Now students are faced with a new way of achieving their educational goals. The foundation is asking supporters to consider directly donating toward a scholarship or the Area of Greatest Need Fund.

A date for next year’s fundraiser has been set for November 12, 2021.
