The circus is coming to Myrtle Creek!

Thanks to the sponsorship of the Myrtle Creek Elks Lodge #1943, the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus will be in the Ireland parking lot located parallel to Main Street on Saturday May 18th, with shows at 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

An Elks Club release said C&M Circus has been providing quality, local family entertainment for 38 years. This authentic one-ring, big top circus has been featured on the A&E special: Under the Big Top, Nick New: On the Road with Circus Kids and most recently OETA’s Big Top Town.

On circus day, the big top raising & tour begins at 9:30 a.m. The midway opens at 1:00 p.m. with pony rides, moon bounce, a giant slide, face painting, a concession stand and more. Circus performances will follow with each lasting for about 90 minutes.

Advance tickets are $13 for adults, and $8 for children up to age 12 and for seniors over age 65. Advance tickets can be purchased at Cindy’s Flowers & Gifts, the Happy Donut, the Regal Raptor and Taphouse. On circus day, tickets in the box office are $16 for adults, and $9 for children and seniors.
