Winston Police jailed a man following a stolen vehicle and police pursuit incident on Sunday.

A WPD report said just after 6:30 p.m. a call came in that a vehicle had been stolen from a business on North Main Street. Just prior to receiving that report, deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.

The report said the driver fled from deputies and led them on a pursuit through Roseburg, eventually ending up at the Winston Police Department. 30-year old Bradley Weeks was taken into custody after assistance from K9 Zorro. Charges included attempting to elude police, resisting arrest, unauthorized use of a vehicle and for reckless driving. Bail was set at $112,500.
