Roseburg Police cited a woman for offensive littering on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 9:10 p.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old lying on a blanket on the bike path in the 500 block of Southeast Spruce Street. The woman had trash and property scattered around the blanket and was less than 100 yards from the South Umpqua River. She was released after the citation was issued.
