Roseburg Police cited a man for a violation amount of methamphetamine on Saturday.

Information from RPD said at 10:45 p.m. officers contacted a 33-year old man near the corner of Southeast Douglas and Southeast Fowler and learned his license was suspended. The report said the driver asked if his passenger could drive because she was valid.

The officer indicted that she could. As the driver got out to switch seats, he reportedly dropped a small baggie of meth out of his pocket and onto the seat. The officer recovered the drugs and issued the citation. The man was then released.
