In recognition of Mental Health Month, the Roseburg VA Health Care System is promoting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ One Step Today campaign.

A release said it is a monthlong effort highlighting ideas and advice for veterans from veterans, to help people make a meaningful difference in improving their mental health.

Roseburg VA Medical Center Director Keith Allen said “Exploring these ideas can help veterans begin to address a mental health challenge, or simply pursue a healthier, fuller life”. Allen said the goal is to inspire veterans to take one step at a time, “…on a path toward recovery, well-being and a healthier tomorrow”.
