A trooper with Oregon State Police jailed a passenger for warrants on Monday evening.

An OSP report said just after 11:15 p.m. the trooper said a van make an un-signaled turn at the intersection of Highway 99 and Northeast Brosi Road near Winston. The trooper observed that the passenger in the vehicle did not have a seat belt on and asked for their name and date of birth. The man, a 36-year-old from Myrtle Creek, was determined to have a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. Bail was set at $14,000.
