Roseburg Police cited a woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended early Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 1:10 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street after observing violations. Officers contacted the 22-year-old driver and noticed several signs of impairment with her breath smelling heavily of an alcoholic beverage.

The woman admitted to consuming alcohol and initially refused to perform standard field sobriety tests. She eventually consented and reportedly performed poorly. The woman was taken into custody without incident. She was released after the citations were issued. A sober driver took possession of her vehicle.
