HEAT ADVISORY FOR SUNDAY 11:00 A.M. THROUGH MONDAY AT 11:00 P.M.

A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11:00 a.m. Sunday through 11:00 p.m. Monday for central Douglas County and its eastern foothills.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said hot temperatures between 90 and 104 degrees are expected with low temperatures of 55 to 65 degrees.

The Advisory area includes Roseburg, Sutherlin, Elkton, Camas Valley, Glendale, Canyonville, Tiller, and Toketee Falls.

Forecasters said hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. Residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on neighbors and relatives.
