The suspect was not located following a hit and run crash in the Green District on Thursday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 5:30 p.m. a victim said that while fueling her vehicle at a station in the 200 block of Grant Smith Road, a pickup truck towing a flatbed trailer sideswiped the rear bumper of her vehicle, causing minor scratches., The driver reportedly did not stop, continued out of the parking lot, and fled the area without stopping or exchanging information.

The victim was not in her vehicle at the time of the collision and was not injured. The victim was not able to read the license plate for the suspect vehicle, and the camera footage from the gas station’s camera is too grainy to read the plate.
