A Glide man was jailed for a restraining order violation on Wednesday evening.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 6:45 p.m. while completing a move out at a residence in the 1000 block of Jim Creek Road in the Glide area, a deputy learned the 27-year-old had violated the restraining order the victim had on him by texting the protected person and messaging her. The suspect also had third party contact via texts from a family member to the protected person.

The deputy confirmed there was an active restraining order and placed the man in custody. Bail was set at $5,000.
