Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 1:10 a.m. officers contacted the 61-year-old. He was lying in a sleeping bag along the bike path at the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Camping is always prohibited at this location due to the time, place and manner ordinance. The man was released after the citation was issued.
