Roseburg Police jailed a man Tuesday evening for a past hit and run crash.

An RPD report said officers learned that the 45-year-old and his vehicle had been involved in the incident in the parking lot of a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. At 7:20 p.m. Officers located the vehicle and the suspect admitted to being involved in a crash and leaving the scene because he did not have a license or insurance.

The man was charged with failure to perform the duties of a driver with property damage. He was detained on $6,250 bail.
