A front moving through the region is expected to bring cooler temperatures and the chance of light rain for the Roseburg area on Monday and Tuesday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93- FM and 1240 KQEN that highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s for the two-day period. Conditions will start to dry out on Wednesday with a ridge of high pressure leading to gradually warmer weather through at least next weekend. Highs should be in the mid 70’s on Wednesday, in the low to mid 80’s Thursday and Friday and around 90 degrees on Saturday. Forecasters said the Umpqua Valley will see highs near the triple digits on Sunday.
The mercury reached 72 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport on Sunday.
