In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Valley Arts is seeking volunteers for the 57th annual Summer Arts Festival.

The event will take place June 26th through 28th at the Arts Center in Fir Grove Park on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg. The festival is a community celebration of creativity, culture, and connection featuring local artists, live performances, activities, and family-friendly fun. Volunteers help make the event successful by assisting with setup, guest support, activities, vendor coordination, and cleanup.

Those interested can signup on UVA’s new volunteer software system – Boomerang Volunteer. Participants can see available shifts, register for when they want to work and how they want to help, find out shift information and more.
