Roseburg Police cited a man for a DUII incident early Friday morning.
An RPD report said just after 2:30 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Northeast Stephens Street after observing traffic violations and contacted the 43-year-old man that was driving. Officers noticed several signs of impairment and said the man’s breath “reeked” of an alcoholic beverage. The man agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly.
The man was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants, no operator’s license, unlawful or unsignaled lane change, and failure to yield before entering a highway. The man was transported to corrections where he was released after the citations were issued.
