Roseburg Police cited a man following a DUII incident early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. the 23-year-old was pulled over for a traffic violation in the 500 block of Northeast Alameda Avenue. During the traffic stop, officers noticed signs of impairment. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections where he provided a breath sample. The man was cited for driving undier the influence of intoxicants, driving while suspended-violation, driving uninsured and failure of a previous violator to file.

The man was released from corrections to his passenger, who took possession of his vehicle, per his request.
