Roseburg Police cited two people for a city ordinance violation on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 10:40 a.m. officers contacted the pair regarding the status of a camp near the bike path along the Interstate 5 southbound Garden Valley Boulevard interchange. The 46-year-old man and 28-year-old woman had tents pitched and several items strewn about the ground. Their camp violated the time, place, and manner stipulations of the city camping ordinance.

The man was cited for a criminal count of prohibited camping while the woman was cited for a violation charge for prohibited camping. They were both released after their citations were issued.
