Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a parole violation early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 12:00 a.m. officers contacted a 63-year-old woman driving and a 34-year-old woman who was a passenger in a vehicle in the 1500 block of Northeast Stephens Street. Officers learned the driver was suspended at the misdemeanor level. Officers also knew the passenger was wanted by her parole officer. A detainer was authorized and the woman was taken into custody. She was detained without bail and was released later in the morning. The driver was cited and released
