A Veneta man was jailed after allegedly jumping into traffic on Saturday morning.
An Oregon State Police report said just before 9:00 a.m. troopers responded to the area of Highway 42 eastbound milepost 54 in the Camas Valley area. When troopers arrived, the man was still see jumping into traffic. Troopers contacted the man, identified as 45-year-old Richard St. Clair, and placed him under arrest.
St. Clair was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, failure to register as a sex offender and for a current warrant. The man was detained without bail.
