The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is still trying to find a woman who has been missing for two weeks.

On November 20th, 61-year-old Lori Sharman was reported missing after family and friends could not reach her during the day. Undersheriff Brad O’Dell said through the course of the investigation, deputies located video showing Sharman leaving her residence in the Green District on foot at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19th. O’Dell said she did not return and was last seen walking south on Carnes Road toward Castle Avenue.

At the time she left, Sharman was wearing a maroon long-sleeved shirt with translucent sleeves, a black vest, cuffed blue jeans, and back and white sneakers. She left her cell phone, wallet and credit/debit cards inside her residence.

O’Dell said Sharman has a mental health diagnosis that may cause her to behave unpredictably. She reportedly walks with a limp.

On Tuesday, Undersheriff O’Dell said that DCSO continues to seek information from the public and is following up on any tips as they come in.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call DCSO at 440-4471.
