Roseburg Police jailed a man for weapon and probation charges on Thursday.
An RPD report said just before 11:30 a.m. officers contacted the 60-year-old at his home in the 2800 block of Northeast Douglas Avenue. The man had allegedly attempted to purchase a firearm and was in possession of multiple knives and pepper spray.
He was on felony probation and was not allowed to be in possession of firearms or weapons. The man was taken into custody and charged with being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon and for a probation violation. He was detained on $2,000 bail.
