Roseburg Police cited a man following a traffic stop on Thursday.
An RPD report said at 7:55 a.m. officers observed the 62-year-old driving in the area of Southeast Mosher Street and Southeast Mill Street. Officers ran the man’s license and learned that it was revoked. Officers were able to catch up to the man’s vehicle on Interstate Five northbound near the Garden Valley Boulevard exit.
The vehicle continued north to the mile post 127 and took Edenbower Boulevard exit, then continued into a nearby parking lot. Dispatch confirmed that the man’s was revoked. The driver was cited for driving while suspended-misdemeanor, driving uninsured, failure ot a previous violator to file, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
He was cited and released on the scene. A valid driver responded to take the vehicle.
