Every year, 2nd District Congressman Cliff Bentz nominates qualified young men and women to be candidates for the United States Service Academies. Applications for nomination are open for those who wish to apply and will be closing soon.
A release from the Congressman’s office said if nominated, these candidates have the opportunity to be accepted into one of the four academies which require a Congressional Nomination: the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

For those who wish to apply for Fall 2027 admission, the deadline is this Friday October 30th, and applications will not reopen until May of next year.
