Roseburg Police jailed a man Thursday for a prior criminal mischief incident.

An RPD report said while enroute to another incident on October 20th, an officer witnessed the 49-year-old spray painting a fence on a chain link fence owned by the Oregon Department of Transportation at the end of Northeast Rowe Street. On Thursday at 4:00 p.m. an officer contacted the suspect while he was meeting with his probation officer and took him into custody. He was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and a parole violation. Bail was set at $6,250.
